Yes, zealotry is never a good idea. And while the referenced GoF Design Patterns book is a classic one from which many people say that you *must* have read it, I also confess I didn’t. However, I read the Head First compilation, which is more on top the latest developments. Does this make me a bad person? Not at all, I’d say. Come and meet me, I don’t bite
